Das Erdbeben vom 25. April 2015 (Richterskala 7.9) hat die Namgyal Middle Boarding School in Kathmandu, Nepal, stark beschädigt.
Dank der Spende von Tibetfreunde von CHF 20’000 (Juni 2015) verfügt die Schule über die Mittel, um die Mauer des Schulgeländes, Büro- und Schlafeinheiten wieder aufzubauen.

We are extremely thankful to Tibetfreunde Switzerland for the kind financial support towards the repair of school infrastructure due to the 25th April 2015 earthquake.
Our school compound wall collapsed and was badly damaged by the earthquake in various places and we had to repair the compound wall, the school office building, the staff quarters, the entry point of the boys‘ and girls‘ dormitory block, the open assembly stage, classroom floors and other things.
The school principal, staff, students and the parents of Namgyal Middle Boarding School would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Tibetfreunde Switzerland for the kind financial assistance toward the repair of school infrastructure due to earthquake.
